Hi Newport Church Family,

We pray that you are in good health and spirit as we engage with fresh vision, hope, and faith in all that God has in store for us this year!
This Sunday we will be concluding our 3 part “Worry Free Finances” series which we hope has been an inspiring, thought-provoking, and faith-building time in God’s word together.

Knowledge, Understanding, and Wisdom

God makes it clear that if we want to experience Peace, Provision, and Purpose in the realm of our finances, Knowledge, Understanding, and Wisdom of His ways and His word are essential.

This is why Solomon, the wisest man on earth, to whom God gave “very great wisdom and understanding, and knowledge as vast as the sands of the seashore” (1 Kings 4:29), wrote these powerful words about making insight into the secrets of God’s Kingdom our priority:

Tune your ears to the world of Wisdom; set your heart on a life of Understanding. That’s right—if you make Insight your priority, and won’t take no for an answer, searching for it like a prospector panning for gold, like an adventurer on a treasure hunt, Believe me, before you know it Fear-of-God will be yours; you’ll have come upon the Knowledge of God.
Proverbs 2:1-5 MSG

Jesus told his disciples, “the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.” Matt 13:11

Jesus was saying that only those who are willing to search and dig deep for knowledge, understanding and wisdom will learn and benefit from the secrets of His Kingdom.

He went on to say:

But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness[His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.

Matthew 6:33 AMP

We pray that as we all seek, discover, and apply the secrets of God’s Kingdom, we will experience the blessings of financial Peace, Provision, and Purpose.

Let’s never forget the power of our engagement in searching God’s word and applying His principles to our lives so that we can experience the promises of His supernatural provision.

Generosity Lunch – You’re Invited! This Sunday, March 6th 11.15-12.00pm

We would love to have you join us for our Generosity Lunch straight after our service this Sunday.

We will be sharing how each one of us individually and collectively can make a difference through our generosity.

We will also be giving a gift of John Siebeling’s faith-inspiring book, “Worry Free Finances” to all who join us.

When Jesus taught us to pray, “give us this day our daily bread,” He did not intend for us to pray that we would only have enough provision to live day to day or paycheck to paycheck, but that we would have enough to both live and share with others.

Jesus said that when we give, our generosity releases God’s provision so that He gives back to us, “pressed down, shaken together and running over!”

That means that we will have not only enough for our needs but to be a source of life and blessing to others in need.

Let’s never forget that the part that we play, makes all the difference.

We can’t wait to see you there!

Thank you for your Generosity

A big thank you to all of you who are faithfully and consistently giving your donations, tithes, and offerings.

God promises this about our tithe: “try Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”

And when we give our offerings, God promises that He will multiply the seed that we sow.

Our prayer is that this will be a reality for each one of us as we experience God’s supernatural provision for the vision we have for our lives, family, and the world and for our vision as a church.

If you would like to give now or sign up for recurring giving, you can do so here

Thank you for your generosity!

Guest Speaker – Sunday, March 13th 2022

Next weekend Mundo Meneses from Life Church Memphis will be speaking in our Sunday Service. Mundo is an inspiring communicator and you are going to love his message and ministry.

Let’s do everything we can to be in church in person and to invite our family, friends, and neighbors.

If you are more comfortable sitting in the foyer at one of our high tables you can do so, or you can of course join us online.

We’re going to have a great time together and it won’t be the same without you!

We love and appreciate you all greatly.

See you tomorrow!

We love and appreciate you all greatly,
